SYNOPSIS

Productions created for theater companies from Alterman’s  10 monologue books. Each production is contoured to the needs of the specific company.

SETTING

Depending on the needs of the theater company or the producer/director. Have ranged from circus settings to insane asylums to bars, etc.

 

 

DEVELOPMENT

Developed over many years by Circle Rep Theater, Vital Theater, Emerging Artists Theater, American Renaissance Theater, Alice’s 4the Floor. Starting with the first book of original monologues Street Talk to the last book Monologues For Every Audition. Over 1000 monologues to choose from when developing a production.

 

PRODUCTIONS

Over 300 productions of Alterman Monologues from books of original monologues (U.S.A., Paris, Barcelona, Berlin,  India, etc) Productions in the U.S. include:

SYNOPSIS

 

Helen is an unhappily married woman. One night, her new next door neighbor knocks on her door. When she opens her door she meets, Hal, her new neighbor. He’s charming, attractive and two inches tall. A relationship begins.
